Biro is a writer/director/producer at his NYC company, Hudson River Films. He’s produced and directed three feature documentaries:
“Herbie Hancock: Possibilities”; Grammy nominated ”The Greatest Ears in Town: The Arif Mardin Story” and “3 Doors Down: Away From the Sun.”
He’s also produced nine International Jazz Day concert films sponsored by UNESCO and Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz. Host cities include— the UN General Assembly in New York City, Istanbul, Osaka, Paris, Havana, New Orleans, St. Petersburg, Melbourne and Los Angeles.
The last five concerts aired on PBS.
In June 2019 he produced the “John Fogerty 50 Year Trip” concert film at Red Rocks, Colorado for a PBS Pledge Drive and the theatrical Fathom Event. In 2018 he produced “GOTTI: Godfather and Son”—
a 4-hour docu-series for A&E.
